WASHINGTON -- The 2021 DoD Warrior Games have been canceled due to the requirement to ensure the safety, health and well-being of our service members and local communities as the COVID-19 Delta variant continues to affect the country.
Breaking news! The Department of Defense 2021 Warrior Games, hosted by the U.S. Army’s Training and Doctrine Command, will take place at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort in September.
The dates have been set and the athletic competitions have been confirmed. Hundreds of wounded, ill, and injured service members will ascend upon the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida from Sept. 12-22 to compete in 12 adaptive sports.
